Douglas Watches Every Anime has a zero-use policy on Large Language Models. Because the website’s writer only speaks English, we do use machine translation. But we don’t do so without thought and research, to make sure as much of the original meaning comes through from the non-English works that are the backbone of our reviews.

The voice recording, theme music and all still photography used on this website are, to the best of our knowledge, LLM-free. Should we discover that any of the work published here has involved LLM or AI-generated tools, we will remove it immediately, and replace it with human-made work as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, we can’t avoid LLMs and AI completely. The code used to run this website safely uses AI, and that’s currently unavoidable. We regret this, but can’t currently see a way around it.
